Our University’s biochemists have developed a technology for the production of proteins and peptides from the wastes of leather, fish, food, and pharmaceutical industries. This alternative technology of protein production gained interest as an applied technology for the incorporation into biotechnological production. Let’s hope that medications will become more affordable and effective!
